Tammie was appointed Under Treasurer in December 2024 and is the first woman to hold the role. She provides leadership on the State’s fiscal strategy and budget framework and advises the Treasurer and Government on the economic outlook, complex whole-of-system policy, and commercial and procurement matters.

Tammie also oversees coordinated strategic investment in government systems, cyber security, and artificial intelligence. Her career spans senior roles across Treasury and Finance, including leading the preparation of the State Budget, and serving as Chief Operating Officer in the Department for Education. She is currently Chair of the South Australian Government Financing Authority and a Board Member of Infrastructure South Australia.
