The Superintendent's role is a complex one. It requires a sound understanding of the law of contract, substantial technical skills, and in particular, an understanding of the provisions of the particular project outcomes. This intensive and interactive training course teaches you how to confidently manage the various Superintendent duties, the dual roles of the Superintendent, and how to avoid common legal traps.

This is delivered as a one day course and can be delivered in house tailored to meet the specific needs of your company.
The course begins with a thorough breakdown of the requirements, role and authority of a contract Superintendent and the key duties under this role including issuing directions, assessing claims and entitlements, and dealing with disputes.
Whilst the first part of the day is conducted as an interactive information session, the second half of the day is workshop based focusing on various "what if... ?" scenarios. These are primarily based on previous Court cases involving litigation surrounding the Superintendent's role. Using real examples from the consulting industry you will become aware of tips and traps to help you manage your role as a Superintendent with greater confidence and ease.
