Shan Abeywickrema
Principal - Aurecon
Shan is a deeply collaborative and strategic leader with over 15 years of working experience in the energy, resources, built environment, and infrastructure sectors. Much of his experience has been in leading the delivery of major projects with Australia’s national science agency CSIRO and the SKA Observatory including the Australian SKA Pathfinder (ASKAP) telescope and the global SKA telescope.
Shan’s career highlights include playing a small part in the incredible scientific discoveries of the first decade of ASKAP operations as well as the numerous awards received on both the ASKAP and SKA projects. Shan is proud to be leaving a social legacy for future generations in the projects that he has been involved in.
During Shan’s career, he has also led all aspects of key client account portfolios as well as held operational leadership roles. He enjoys bringing the best out of teams and helping others to achieve their goals.

Tatjana Hinson
Associate Director, Sustainability and Climate Change - WSP
Tatjana Hinson is a highly experienced and respected sustainability professional with over 23 years of expertise in project delivery and compliance within the fields of sustainability and environmental management. At WSP, Tatjana oversees all aspects of sustainability in Western Australia, including climate change and resilience, decarbonisation, life cycle assessments, infrastructure ratings and building ratings.
Tatjana is known for being a passionate, process-driven, and people-focused leader with extensive project coordination and program management skills. She has successfully managed numerous large-scale, iconic infrastructure projects across various business environments, encompassing environmental management, sustainability, approvals, and compliance.
Throughout her career, Tatjana has made significant positive contributions at every stage of the project lifecycle, from bid management and planning to development, execution, and operations. She is dedicated to driving change and ensuring that the assets we build are resilient and adaptable for the future. Her commitment to sustainable outcomes and her ability to identify opportunities in emerging sustainability areas have positioned her as a leader in the field.

Gareth Jenkins
Chief Technical Officer - Colliers
Gareth is a highly experienced and motivated Chartered Engineer in civil and structural engineering, holding the prestigious title of Fellow of Engineers Australia. His extensive engineering technical skills encompass a wide range of areas, including the structural engineering of buildings, infrastructure development, and comprehensive asset inspection and management. He also possesses specialized expertise in contract management, particularly within the transport, defence, and land development sectors.
