Esther Soon - SMEC - Team Leader - Roads & Highways (Design)

“Participating in the Future Leader Program has been a valuable experience for my career development. The program covered a wide range of topics that were relevant to my professional goals, offering both foundational knowledge and deeper insights into areas that I have since explored further.

One of the highlights for me was the opportunity to learn alongside a diverse group of professionals during the face-to-face sessions. The cohort brought a range of experiences and perspectives that enriched the learning process. The discussions after each session were particularly engaging, allowing us to share ideas and learn from one another. This collaborative environment helped reinforce the content and made the learning experience more memorable and impactful.

My learnings on the program have helped better me in my role, particularly in how I understand myself and others. It has equipped me with valuable tools for both leading and collaborating more effectively. I feel more confident in my ability to navigate different perspectives and work with a broader range of people.

I would highly recommend the Future Leader Program to anyone in the built environment industry.”

Brendan Walton - Arcadis - Chartered Senior Civil Engineer & Deputy Team Lead

“FNBL program is an empowering course that I feel can really assists in providing the skills and tools needed to become the future leaders of our industry. The team project and the people I worked with, were by far my most enjoyed experience. Working with individuals with such a variety of skill sets and personalities and seeing how our differences when brought together just made us stronger – it was very ‘circle of life’ type of harmony. We work hard but we got to create long lasting connections and see some of them regular today.

I would recommend FNBL to those that want to improve their leadership game. The diverse group of presenters from contract laws to personal branding really provide spectrum of skills for your toolbox in creative ways to spark group engagement on otherwise potentially dry subjects. It really gives you an insight in our industries business and management that for those seeking a future in leadership can learn and be inspired by – whether you are inspired by the presenters or even those who complete the course with you.”
