Boardroom Luncheon with Danny Benjamin, Executive General Manager, Delivery and Commercial VicGrid

A great thing about being an engineer is you get to be involved in building complex things that underpin the working of society. This sense of contribution, endeavour and a tangible impact is what has driven Danny to be involved in infrastructure projects working across both the private and public sector. Danny’s experience is broad, having worked across all facets of infrastructure with a focus on helping businesses to plan and deliver more effectively. He is the Executive General Manager of Delivery and Commercial for VicGrid and is responsible for ensuring the plan for the Victorian transmission network is delivered for the good of all Victorians. Danny has held leadership positions to establish and deliver complex programs of work within government while also working in private sector construction and engineering companies. Danny believes that delivering complex projects offers a platform for change, both social and economic. It is only done well when people with different skills, perspectives and experiences come together with purpose.
